SCHOOL PROJECT
An editorial zine that tells the history of Black designers, exploring themes of identity, resistance, and cultural expression. The project combines typography, imagery, and layout to create a bold, unfiltered narrative. It emphasizes voice, perspective, and the power of independent publishing.

II. SKETCHES
Initial sketches explored layout options and the positioning of key design elements to effectively communicate themes of power, history, and solidarity. Color palettes were also experimented with.
III. DIGITAL COMPOSITIONS
Digital compositions were created using Photoshop and Illustrator, combining the chosen visual elements, typography, and imagery. These designs were refined to reflect the zine’s bold message while ensuring visual harmony. Elements and visual language has been developed.
IV. DIGITAL REVISIONS
Revisions were made based on group and client feedback to improve clarity, messaging, and aesthetics. The final changes ensured the zine communicated its themes effectively while maintaining a striking and cohesive visual style. It becomes more cohesive and the layout is solidified.
